Henny Youngman

Henny YoungmanHenny Youngman was a comedian and violinist and got a lot of appreciation his one-liners. He made a difference by his one-liners as during his time generally the lengthy anecdotes were more common in comedy. He introduced a new form of comedy through his one-liners. He performed in many nightclubs, meetings, functions, colleges, etc.  He used violin for an additional effect on his one liner jokes. He was born in England but later his family shifted its base to New York. His love for music developed due to his father. His father was a big music lover. He is known for his unique style of comedy. In 1937, he got the first opportunity to appear on the radio on the Kate Smith show. He also co-hosted the television series ‘The Henny and Rocky Show’ .
