Creative

Most people, from their second album on, find it much harder to be as spontaneously creative as they were with their first couple of records, and some people only have one thing that they do.

I'm very motivated by the occasional creative payoff that comes when something goes really well, be it a song, a recording or performance. The payoff is enormous - when you get it. Most of the time, though, I'm filled with self-loathing and general frustration at the limitations I have as a musician.

My hand is the extension of the thinking process - the creative process.

I have to go someplace where I can soak myself in a creative atmosphere.

I get lost in my right brain, especially in creative things.

I think the older I get the more creative I get, I don't have the distractions that I had when I was younger.

My first introduction to television, and really just the business in general, was working with David Lynch, with his incredibly open, creative mind that was not following any rules.

When you are on the management side, you still have to understand the artistic sensibility so that there is a dialogue with the creative side.

When I was working in my first job engineering construction, what I liked the most was working with architects and making buildings that had this creative side coming from the architect and that were making them a big success.

I'm used to being in creative environments where people throw out a lot of ideas.
